Engranaje primario Malossi HTQ Z 15/38 (Forzado-Ø17)

The Malossi gearbox with a long primary gear ratio of 15/38 is designed for scooters with a Piaggio 50cc 2-stroke engine. The input shaft of the primary gearbox is mounted in the crankcase cover.

The gearing has an interference fit of 17.77 mm for the secondary gearing and is compatible with engines in which the input shaft is mounted in both the gearbox cover and the crankcase. This type of gearbox is mainly installed in Piaggio 50cc 2-stroke scooters from around 1999 onwards.
